Tuesday 11th May 2004
Mouth not quite as sore today. Starting to worry
about tomorrow's appointment with my hospital team.
I want to know but at the same time I'm not sure
if I want to know what the results and treatment
options will be, and the prognosis of it all. Glen,
one of my friends from my local pub, called by to
see me at tea time and stayed for about an hour,
which was nice of him.
Anthony called after work and I asked him if he
would like me to run him home, which I did. When
we got to his house Cheryl, his partner, asked if
I would like some of the pizza she had made; it
smelled so nice so I said 'yes' and really enjoyed
it. I then had a small piece of custard.
Anthony then asked if I fancied going to the local
reservoir to do a bit of fishing for an hour. We
went and he caught a large Pike, should have taken
my camera and then I could have put it on my diary
page for all to see. I will probably not sleep very
well tonight because of tomorrow. Wish I had someone
to stay here again tonight but I don't feel like
I can phone anyone and ask. I guess one of the hardest
things about this illness, is not having someone
there whenever you need them.
