The days between my last entry and today are a bit
of a blur as I have spent much of my time sleeping.
This is caused, I think, by the tablets my doctor
gave me for pain I am getting in the nerve endings
in my chest. I started my radiotherapy today, not
a good start as they forgot to pick me up. I phoned
at 5 past 11 as my appointment was for 12:00. They
said they would send me a taxi but this would take
about 2 hours to get here. I phoned Cheryl who is
on holiday from school and she took me. I am still
very sleepy and haven‚t eaten for about a
week. I am very depressed and this is at the start
of my treatment.
