I took one of my Amitriptyline tabs (25mg) last night (one to be taken at night) but I didn’t sleep very well. I think it may be side effects of the new tabs. I went for my second appointment at Cookridge Hospital for checking the fit of my mask for the radiotherapy treatment. I also had an x-ray to align the machine up; also signed a consent form. My next appointment is on the 9th of July when I will be told how many weeks of radiotherapy I will be having. I have had trouble with the lower two discs in my back since my late twenties when I damaged it at work. I have been able to overcome this most of the time. However tonight I slipped off my chair whilst sitting down and this has brought on the back pain really badly. When it is like this I have trouble walking, sitting and lying in bed. My back goes into spasm when I go to sleep then wakens me up and I can’t move. I woke up at about 4 am and could not get out of bed until my home help called and helped me up.
