  Why Not Laugh?
A cancer survivor and expert on humour urges those battling cancer to allow for laughter in their lives.

Humour Therapy
Humour therapy helps us to realise that both unhappiness and gloom are infectious. 'That is why the pursuit of personal happiness only acquires a realistic meaning if it becomes the pursuit of other people's happiness.' Branko Bokun suggests we use humour to help restore our inborn disposition towards playfulness, joy of living, curiosity, exploration and flexibility. What do you think?

Lace is a Head/Neck cancer patient survivor. Her original cancer was a stage 4 primary tumour under the tongue that metastasised to two lymph glands, one on each side of the neck. The treatment was radical and severe but she survived and is glad to be alive. Her site is very female and very adult.

Cancer Survivors Park

Investigate this idea of a Cancer Survivors Park. See how it not only encourages current patients to fight, but subconsciously gives healthy people, who know they will never get cancer, the will to fight when they are subsequently diagnosed. Normally parks memorialize the dead. This is a tribute to the living. It is there daily - continuously - to give the same message, "Don't equate death and cancer".
